Welcome to the Contrast Therapy Circuit at Le Patio Spa

A calm, open-air retreat in the heart of Eixample, where cold meets heat under the sky. At its centre sits the KYMA ice bath - a true cold plunge, designed and engineered in Barcelona - set on a private terrace alongside a steam room, jacuzzi and shaded chill-out space to complete the ritual.

This is recovery the way the body has always known it. Cold to wake and reset, heat to soften and release - a full hour to ease tired muscles, quiet a busy mind, rest more deeply and step back into your day feeling genuinely renewed.

Whether you're recovering after training, shaking off the tension of a long week, or simply in need of an hour to disconnect, contrast bathing meets you where you are - shared with a few others, or the whole terrace entirely your own.

An hour of cold and heat in the open air, moving between all four stations at your own pace, a rare pocket of calm nestled away from the busy streets of the city.

  • Ice bath

    KYMA ICE BATH

    The centrepiece of the circuit, and what sets it apart - a true cold plunge, not a cold shower or a fountain. Precisely chilled and purpose-built, engineered and designed in Barcelona by KYMA. Short, bracing immersions that sharpen the mind and leave you clear-headed and alive. This is the cold the whole ritual is built around.

  • STEAM HAMMAM

    Warm, enveloping heat to open the body, ease tired muscles and draw the tension out between cold rounds.

  • JACUZZI

    Warm water and gentle movement to relax and recover - the soothing counterpoint that completes the contrast.

  • CHILL ZONE

    Between rounds, retreat to our patio chill-out zone to let everything settle - heart rate easing, warmth spreading, the body recalibrating. The rest phase is where the benefit of contrast bathing truly lands, so take your time here.

Two ways to experience it

Shared Join a window with up to three others and enjoy the circuit together. A relaxed, social way to experience cold and heat. €45 per person

or

Private Reserve the whole space for you and your group of up to four - the ice bath, steam room and jacuzzi, entirely your own. €200

WHAT'S INCLUDED

Towel, robe and flip-flops - just bring your swimwear and arrive ready to relax. Everything else is taken care of.

  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for a short briefing from our team

  • You'll be asked to read and agree to a few safety guidelines upon booking

  • Contrast therapy isn't suitable during pregnancy or with certain heart or blood-pressure conditions. If you're unsure, please check with your doctor first.
